Shoes – nothing makes an outfit like a sexy pair of shoes. You just need to remember a few rules. If you’ve got large legs avoid delicate kitten heels. Go for a wedge heel instead to slim your legs. Elongate short pins with a heel and pointed toe. Earrings – the right ones can transform your face and neck. A pair of long dangly earrings will slim a round face. If you have a short neck, avoid heavy earrings and stick to studs or dainty loops. Give elaborate styles room to shine by wearing a V-neck top. Necklaces – a beautiful necklace can really enhance your assets. Make the most of a large bust with a necklace that ends just above the cleavage line. Or a long string of beads that finish near your navel if you want to minimise it. If you’ve got a flat chest, you can show off more dramatic pieces. Remember not to wear bold earrings and a necklace together. If they have to compete they both lose impact. Bags – your bag should mirror your body shape. If you’re petite go for something small and neat. If you’re curvy, choose a soft floppy fabric like suede and if you’re straight up and down, a more structured bag looks best. Larger women can carry off flamboyant prints too. Belts – wide belts are very in at the moment so team a belt with long-length cardis, high-waisted pencil skirts and even your favourite little black dress.
Scarves – a beautiful scarf is the perfect disguise for a less-than-taut décolletage in the winter months and in the summer just lighten it up to chiffon or silk for the same effect. |
