Blending over those fine little wrinkles |
|
You may have noticed that foundation or concealer is sinking into some of those little wrinkles on your face, especially the laugh lines, lines under the eyes, or near the crow’s feet.
Try not to use foundation on the eye area if you can. Lines can be softened with cream concealers with light reflective particles to diffuse the line and make it look less obvious by illusion. Don’t apply too quickly over eye cream or moisturiser – it will migrate and streak or slip into deeper lines and highlight them for the world to see. When choosing a concealer pick one the same shade as your foundation or slightly lighter. You get the most natural cover with a brush as you have more control than with your fingers. If you prefer to use your finger, opt for your ring finger, as it is weaker and will apply less pressure to delicate skin. If it starts to look too heavy, apply a tiny bit of your eye cream over the top to lighten it up.
